Tee shots need to be straight or left of centre to allow an unobstructed approach to the green - the large gum tree on the right at 70m from the green, as well as a clump of pines, can make approaches from this side awkward.

A tee shot to the right will encounter trees bordering the fairway, the lateral hazard or even the 6th fairway.

Too far left with a drive off the Mens' tee may encounter the large gum near the Ladies tee.
