Membership
The Lancefield Golf Club currently has membership vacancies in all categories with a minimal joining fee.
The benefits of membership at Lancefield include being able to play or practice at any time without extra fees, gaining a recognised handicap and being eligible for competitive events both within the Club and the Dalhousie District (see CLUB COMPETITION & SYLLABUS), as well as at other venues. A small competition fee applies. Members also benefit from the interaction with other golfers, use of Clubhouse facilities and involvement in a range of SOCIAL EVENTS.
Lancefield offers a pleasant, uncongested course with no hit-off queues or unduly slow play. Many of our members are prepared to travel from Melbourne or nearby towns simply because playing here is such a pleasant experience.
We especially encourage Juniors and Ladies to apply to join. As part of our effort to attract more young people and women to golf, the Club regularly holds clinics for beginners (men and women) and juniors. These are designed to develop self confidence and to teach basic golfing skills. For further information contact the Club.
Membership Fees 2011 - 2012
The Club makes every effort to keep membership fees as low as possible. In 2011-2012 there will be no increase in Membership fees, although the $50.00 Service Levy will apply (see below for details). Our current full annual subscription fees (including GST) are as follows-

Please note -
1. This year a Service Levy of $50 per member is to be paid in addition to the annual subscription. The Service Levy will be reimbursed if the member undertakes to assist in voluntary work at the Club.
2. All new memberships attract a $20 joining fee in addition to the annual subscription to cover the cost of the New Member pack provided to each new member.
3. Pro-Rata membership rates for new members are applicable from January 1 and are calculated at the rate of 1/12 of the normal fee per month.
