2012 Subscriptions- It has long been the objective of the Committee to keep membership fees as low as possible. Consequently it has been decided not to increase subscription fees for the 2011 - 2012 year. However the $50.00 Service Levy will still apply.
Last year the Committee sought to find a way to increase the involvement of all members in making the Club a success. It was decided that the best way to do this was to ask all members to pay an Annual Service Levy, and having that fee refundable to those members who preferred to volunteer for certain duties in the club. This was found to increase the number of volunteers involved and, where members simply opted to pay the levy, provided the financial resources to hire casual labour where required. The levy applies to all membership categories, except juniors and students.
Members wishing to volunteer some time to the Club and render the Service Levy refundable should discuss the options with the Club Office on 5429 1922.
Course Developments - The Club successfully sank a bore near the Clubhouse in 2010. We hope to make that operational in due course. Given the good seasons we have enjoyed recently, it makes sense to delay doing that until the new dam currently under construction between the 1st and 9th fairways is completed. Work on the dam began at the beginning of September 2010 and is due for completion with restoration of the road, fairways and landscaping in late 2011. The material from the dam has been used by the Macedon Ranges Shire Council to cap the old Lancefield tip, and the new dam was provided by the Shire at no cost to us. When the work is complete the course will feature a second major water storage (and hazard!)

2011 Presentation Night
The Club's Annual Presentation Night was held on Saturday 5 November. Members and friends enjoyed a great meal and congratulated this year's winners of Club golfing events, with trophies presented by Club President Dave Muller.
