Deep Creek (a tributary of the Maribyrnong River) runs along the south-west boundary of the Course. The Club has a rich history going back to the mid 1920s.
Over the years the Course has been re-designed, the greens upgraded from sand-scrapes to grass, and a new Clubhouse built. The Golf Course now spans Heddle Road, with 14 holes (1st to 9th and 14th to 18th) on the western side of Heddle Rd and 4 holes (10th to 13th) to the east.

The course is divided by Heddle Road (a no-through road with relatively little traffic) which runs from the top to the bottom of the picture.
Holes 1 to 9 are on the western (Clubhouse) side with holes 10 to 13 on the eastern side of the road. Players then cross the road again to the 14th hole, finishing at the 18th in front of the Clubhouse.
