Lancefield Golf Club has a proud history going back to the 1920s. It is situated in a picturesque valley 3km north of the township of Lancefield in the Macedon Ranges district of Victoria. The area is renowned for its quality wineries, agricultural produce, tourist attractions and places to get away from it all.
Our 18-hole par 72 course (5908 metres men, 5192 metres ladies) offers an open, undulating layout with well-maintained greens and fairways. The course presents sufficient challenges for golfers of all abilities.
Lancefield Golf Club is 35 minutes north of Melbourne Airport and less than 30 minutes from the nearby towns of Gisborne, Kyneton, Kilmore and Woodend. From Lancefield, take the main road north and cross the creek at Mustey's bridge, turn left into Burke and Wills Track and take the next left into Golfhouse Lane. The next left is Heddle Rd - the golf course is about 0.5km on the right side. Refer to Melways Map 609 J8 or VicRoads Country Street Directory of Victoria Map 60 D6.
Our fully-licensed clubhouse is open on weekends. Enjoy the log fire in the cooler months or take in the views from the verandah - you will be made feel most welcome!
Lancefield Golf Club is known for its superb views of the surrounding countryside from Mount Macedon to the Cobaw Ranges.
Social golfers/green fee players are most welcome. The course is normally open 7 days a week all year round. Bookings are not usually necessary except for Tuesday and Wednesday mornings and on Saturdays when Club competition is held - contact the Club on 03 5429 1922 or email lgclub@bigpond.net.au for details. Current green fees are $20 for 18 holes ($10 for 9 holes). Buggies can be hired for $3. Lancefield does not hire motorised carts. Dress code is neat casual.
Membership is available to men, women and juniors of all abilities. The Club makes every effort to keep membership fees as low as possible, so if you are considering joining a golf club you won't find better value or a friendlier environment than at Lancefield Golf Club.
We currently have nearly 200 Members including an active female membership and some very enthusiastic Juniors. Regular weekend and mid-week competitions are held for men and women, as well as district competition, invitational tournaments and regular social events.

The Macedon Ranges Junior Tournament will be held at Woodend, Romsey and Lancefield on the Labour Day Weekend, 10 - 12 March 2012. This 54 hole Tournament is open to all boys and girls 18 years and under.

Updates
Lancefield Golf Club is very pleased to announce that we have been successful in obtaining a Sporting Sponsorship from the Lancefield and Romsey Community Bank Branches for $1,000. The funds will be used to obtain new T-shirts for our Pennant teams and for use in Club Competitions. We are currently in the process of ordering the new shirts which will carry both LGG and Bendigo Bank logos.
